Removal and Installation

- With vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING in this article.
- Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN MOTOR AND SHROUD in this article.
- Disconnect the upper radiator-to-degas bottle hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the lower degas bottle-to-radiator hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the 2 transaxle cooling hoses from the radiator.
- Remove the radiator.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING in this article.
