DTC P0A1A: Generator Control Module

P0A1A - GENERATOR CONTROL MODULE

Description:

This DTC indicates a generator control module (GCM) internal malfunction.

Possible Causes:

GCM processor malfunction.
GCM A/D converter malfunction.
GCM supply voltage out of range.
TCM-GCM serial link malfunction.

⁽¹⁾	Install a new transaxle. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (ECVT) .

⁽²⁾	Clear the transaxle control module (TCM) continuous DTCs. Repeat the self-test. If DTC P0A1A is present again, install a new transaxle. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (ECVT) .
