Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the floor shifter trim ring.
  2. Remove the floor console center finish panel.
    3. NOTE: Five Hundred, Montego shown; Freestyle similar.

  3. Remove the 2 floor console front screws.
  4. Remove the floor console LH and RH finish panels.
    • To install, apply 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) of force to the Dylock area in the front of the panel.
  5. Remove the 4 front floor console bolts.
  6. Remove the 2 front floor console-to-instrument panel screws.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  8. Remove the floor console.
  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
