Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear seat bolster. For additional information, refer to SEAT SYSTEM - SEATS -- FUSION, MILAN & MKZ article.
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
  4. Using a suitable tool, disconnect the grommet from the body.
  5. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness nut and bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).
  6. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the wheel speed sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
