Luggage Compartment Lid Motor Initialization

  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer BATTERY, MOUNTING & CABLES article.
  2. With the luggage compartment lid in the closed position, reconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING & CABLES article.
  3. Operate the luggage compartment lid to the full open position by using the luggage compartment release switch, the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter or the RKE keypad.
  4. Operate the luggage compartment lid to the full closed position by using the same method from the previous step.
  5. Verify the operation of the luggage compartment lid.
