Seat Cushion - Front: Disassembly

All seats
- Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front .
- Remove the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) system components. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION article.
- Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front .
- Remove the seat track. For additional information, refer to Seat Track .
- If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.
- Detach and route out the wiring harness.
- Note wiring harness routing for assembly.
- Release the J-clips.
- If equipped, remove the power lumbar switch.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Insert a suitable tool between the bezel and power lumbar switch.
- Pry the tab and push the switch through the bezel.
- Separate the seat cushion frame from the foam pad and trim cover.
- Remove the hog rings and cushion trim cover.
- Cut and discard the hog rings.
- Note location and quantity of hog rings for assembly.
- Cut and discard the hog rings.
- Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and mat.
- Remove the cushion support.
