Seat Cushion - Front: Disassembly

All seats 

  1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front .

    2. Passenger seat 

  2. Remove the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) system components. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION article.

    3. All seats 

  3. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front .
  4. Remove the seat track. For additional information, refer to Seat Track .
  5. If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.
  6. Detach and route out the wiring harness.
    • Note wiring harness routing for assembly.
  7. Release the J-clips.

  8. If equipped, remove the power lumbar switch.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Insert a suitable tool between the bezel and power lumbar switch.
    • Pry the tab and push the switch through the bezel.

  9. Separate the seat cushion frame from the foam pad and trim cover.
  10. Remove the hog rings and cushion trim cover.
    • Cut and discard the hog rings.
      • Note location and quantity of hog rings for assembly.

  11. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and mat.
  12. Remove the cushion support.
