Belt Tension Sensor (BTS)

The Belt Tension Sensor (BTS) is part of the safety belt buckle on the front outboard passenger seat only. It is part of the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). It connects electrically to the passenger seat wire harness. For diagnostic information, refer to DIAGNOSTIC TESTS article.
