Removal And Installation

All fuel tanks
- Remove the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to Fuel Tank - Aft-of-Axle or Fuel Tank - Midship .
- Place the fuel tank on a suitable work surface.
- Remove the fuel level sensor nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Remove the fuel level sensor and fuel level sensor seal. Discard the fuel level sensor seal.
- Remove the fuel level sensor bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Remove the fuel level sensor and fuel level sensor seal. Discard the fuel level sensor seal.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new fuel level sensor seal.
