Engine Mount: Installation

- Install the motor mounts and loosely install the 8 motor mount-to-motor mount plate bolts.
- Lower the engine.
- Install the 2 engine mount removable studs.
- Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Tighten the 8 motor mount-to-motor mount plate bolts.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- Install the 4 motor mount-to-crossmember nuts.
- Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
- Install the 2 new exhaust flange nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Position back the cable and install the bolt. Install the RH fan stator stand-off.
- Tighten both to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Position the power steering pump and install the 2 bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the LH fan stator stand-off.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Install the 2 upper power steering bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the A/C compressor. For additional information, refer to CLIMATE CONTROL article.
- Install the cooling fan stator and radiator. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
NOTE:
The top retaining nut must be tightened first.
