Oil Level Indicator and Tube: Removal

  1. Remove the engine air cleaner and the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
  2. Remove the LH exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to Exhaust Manifold - LH .
  3. Remove the nut, the bolt and the oil level indicator and tube.
    • Discard the O-ring seal.
  4. Inspect the oil level indicator tube for damage.
