Coolant Pump - 6.0L Diesel: Removal

  1. Remove the cooling fan stator. For additional information, refer to Cooling Fan Stator - 6.0L Diesel .
  2. Loosen the 4 coolant pump pulley bolts.
  3. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt from the coolant pump pulley.

  4. Remove the 4 bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
  5. Remove the 4 bolts and the coolant pump.
    • Discard the O-ring seal.
  6. Clean and inspect the coolant pump sealing surfaces.
