Auto Locking

NOTE: The vehicle comes with the auto lock feature disabled.

The auto locking feature locks all doors when all doors are closed, the ignition switch is in the ON position, the transmission is shifted into any gear putting the vehicle in motion, and a vehicle speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or higher is achieved. This feature re-locks the doors (if any doors are open), once all doors are read as closed, and the vehicle speed exceeds 20 km/h (12 mph). The auto locking feature can be enabled/disabled through the scan tool or the ignition switch and the door lock control switch.
