Pinpoint Test C: 4X4 Control Module Received No/Invalid Data From Pcm

NOTE:
Conduct Steps 1 through 10 outlined in Inspection and Verification prior to carrying out this test.
- C1 CHECK THE PCM DTCs
- Carry out the PCM self-test.
- Review the results of the PCM self-test.
- Are the following DTCs present?
P1289, P1290, P0117 or P0118 (engine coolant temperature faults) or P2121, P2122, P2123, P2126, P2127, P2128, P2131, P2132 or P2133 (accelerator pedal faults) or P0603 or P1633 (keep alive memory [KAM] faults)
- YES : REFER to the Introduction - Gasoline Engines article for further diagnosis to the electronic engine controls.
- NO : The system is operating correctly at this time. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
