Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the bolt and the CMP sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
    • Inspect the O-ring seal and install new as necessary.
    3. NOTE: Lubricate the camshaft position (CMP) sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
