Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 2.0L AND 2.3L .
  2. Disengage the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve cap from the 2 tabs and position the PCV valve and hose aside.
  3. Remove the 8 bolts and the crankcase vent oil separator.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
    4. NOTE: Clean and inspect the gasket mating surfaces.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
