Removal and Installation

    All vehicles 

  1. If equipped, remove the 2 cup holders and the 2 floor console front screws.
  2. If equipped with a manual transmission, disconnect the gearshift lever boot from the floor console.
  3. Release the clips and position the floor console trim panel aside.
  4. If equipped, disconnect the traction control switch, and heated seat switch electrical connectors and remove the floor console trim panel.

    5. Vehicles with High Series Console 

  5. Remove the floor console screw cover and the screw.
  6. Remove the armrest trim panel, the 2 screws and the armrest.

    7. Vehicles with Low Series Console 

  7. Remove the insert from the rear of the floor console.

  8. Remove the 3 floor console rear nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

    9. All vehicles 

  9. Position the parking brake lever to the full up position, remove the parking brake lever boot and the floor console.
  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
