Removal and Installation
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor wiring harness electrical connector.
- Remove the sensor by detaching the small clip and pulling the sensor grommets out of the clips.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Not all the clips are part of the sensor assembly and may not be reusable.
