Pinpoint Test F: Single Window Is Inoperative - 3-Door - Driver Side
- F1 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE DRIVER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH
- Key in ON position.
- Does the driver window control switch LED illuminate?
Yes : GO to F2.
No : GO to F4.
- F2 CHECK CIRCUIT 33-AJ26 (YE) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Driver Window Regulator Motor C518.
- Measure the resistance between the driver window regulator motor C518-1, circuit 33-AJ26 (YE), harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes : GO to F3.
No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- F3 CHECK CIRCUIT 32-AJ26 (WH) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in ON position.
- Operate the driver window control switch to the down position.
- Measure the voltage between the driver window regulator motor C518-2, circuit 32-AJ26 (WH), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes : Install a new driver window regulator motor. REFER to WINDOW REGULATOR AND MOTOR - FRONT DOOR in this article. TEST the system for normal operation.
No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- F4 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-AJ7 (BK) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Driver Window Control Switch C535.
- Measure the resistance between the driver window control switch C535-1, circuit 31-AJ7 (BK), harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes : GO to F5.
No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- F5 CHECK CIRCUIT 15-AJ7 (GN/BU) FOR AN OPEN
- Measure the voltage between the driver window control switch C535-10, circuit 15-AJ7 (GN/BU), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes : VERIFY the customer concern.
No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
