Pinpoint Test A: All Power Windows Are Inoperative - Front And Rear Power Windows
- A1 CHECK CIRCUIT 15-AJ7 (GN/BU) AND CIRCUIT 15-AJ10 (GN/OG) FOR AN OPEN
- Disconnect: Driver Window Control Switch C504a.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the driver window control switch C504a-4, circuit 15-AJ7 (GN/BU), harness side and ground; and between the driver window control switch C504a-2, circuit 15-AJ10 (GN/OG), harness side and ground.
- Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
Yes : Go to A2.
No : VERIFY the CJB fuses 54 (25A) and 55 (25A) are OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuits. TEST the system for normal operation.
- A2 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-AJ7 (BK) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Measure the resistance between the driver window control switch C504a-3, circuit 31-AJ7 (BK), harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes : INSTALL a new driver window control switch.
No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
