Removal and Installation

Remove the 3 pin-type retainers and the radiator air deflector.
If equipped, disconnect the turn signal lamp electrical connectors.

Remove the 2 radiator grille pin-type retainers and the radiator grille.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the radiator lower air deflector. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
Remove the 2 fender splash shield bolts.

Remove the 6 front bumper cover bolts from the fender.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

Disconnect the side turn signal lamp electrical connectors.
- If equipped, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors.

Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and the bumper cover from the radiator grille opening panel.

Remove the front bumper cover.
1. Lower the front bumper cover.
2. Disconnect the front bumper cover from the radiator splash shield.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
