NOTE:
To correctly align the doors, adjust the hinges and the door latch striker plates. Adjusting the hinge affects the positioning of the outside surface of the door frame. Adjusting the door latch striker plate affects the alignment of the door relative to the weatherstrip and the door closing characteristics.
NOTE:
If the door does not align correctly, carry out an underbody misalignment check. For additional information, refer to UNI-BODY SUBFRAME AND MOUNTING SYSTEM

NOTE:
The door should be adjusted for even and parallel fit with the body opening and the surrounding panels.
NOTE:
Check the rear door hinge adjustment before adjusting the front door hinge.
- Remove the 3 pin-type retainers and the rear portion of the fender splash shield.
- Remove the seal.
- Mark the position of the front door hinges to use as a reference point.
- Loosen the 4 front door hinge-to-body bolts.
- Adjust the front door alignment to the specifications.
- Tighten the front door hinge-to-body bolts.
- Tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).
- Install the seal.
- Position the rear portion of the fender splash shield and install the 3 pin-type retainers.
