Using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter

The system is armed after 20 seconds by the RKE transmitter when the following input sequence is followed:

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and remove the key.
  2. Close all the doors (unlocked).
    3. NOTE: If the turn signal lamps do not flash, the system is not armed.
  3. Press the LOCK button on the RKE transmitter to lock the doors. The turn signal lamps flash once.
