Removal and Installation

    All vehicles 

  1. Remove the wheel hub and spindle. For additional information, refer to REAR SUSPENSION .

    2. Vehicles with anti-lock brakes 

  2. Remove the rear wheel speed sensor bolt and position the sensor aside.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

    3. All vehicles 

  3. Remove the brake disc shield.
    • Drill out the rivets.
    4. CAUTION: Make sure all mating surfaces are free of foreign material and debris.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
