Belt Tension Sensor (BTS)

The belt tension sensor is part of the safety belt buckle on the front passenger seat only. It is part of the supplemental restraint system (SRS). It connects electrically to the passenger seat wire harness. For diagnostic information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
