Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
Remove the ECT sensor.
- Pull upward on the locking tab.
- Rotate the sensor counterclockwise and remove.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
