40 percent seat

  1. Remove the 40 percent support riser bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  2. Remove the 40 percent support riser pivot bolt, bushing and right support riser.
    • To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  3. Remove the 40 percent seat cushion latch handle screw and handle.
  4. Remove the 40 percent seat cushion latch cover screw and cover.
  5. Remove the 40 percent seat cushion latch bolt and latch.
    • To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
  6. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the seat cushion foam pad.

  7. Separate the hook-and-loop fasteners.
  8. Remove the 40 percent trim cover.
    • Remove the hog rings and remove the seat trim cover.

  9. Remove the 40 percent foam pad.
  10. Remove the 40 percent inboard pivot bushing.
