Pinpoint Test A: Shake And Vibration While Driving

A1 NEUTRAL COAST
- Carry out the neutral coast test.
- Does the vibration disappear during the neutral coast test?
  - Yes : GO to A2.
  - No : GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
A2 CHECK THE POWERTRAIN/DRIVETRAIN MOUNTS
- Visually check the hydraulic powertrain/drivetrain mounts for leaks and condition.
- Are the powertrain/drivetrain mounts OK?
  - Yes : GO to A3.
  - No : GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
A3 CHECK THE POWERTRAIN/DRIVETRAIN MOUNT NEUTRALIZATION
- Carry out the POWERTRAIN/DRIVETRAIN MOUNT NEUTRALIZING procedure.
- Is the shake and vibration OK?
  - Yes : Vehicle condition corrected. CARRY OUT a road test.
  - No : VERIFY the customer concern.
