Driver Air Bag Module
NOTE:
The air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) utilizes DC firing for air bag and pretensioner deployment.
The driver air bag module:
- Is installed new as an assembly.
- Is mounted in the center of the steering wheel.
- Will deploy upon receiving a flow of current from the restraints control module (RCM).
