Inspection and Verification

  1. Verify the customer concern.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
    VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

    Mechanical Electrical
    • Headlamp switch
    • Instrument panel dimmer switch
    • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 10 (30A)
    • Circuitry
    • Illumination bulb(s)
  3. If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom and GO to SYMPTOM CHART  to continue diagnostics.
