Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Prior to removal of the instrument cluster, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new instrument cluster once installed. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .

Remove the bolts and the instrument panel lower panel.

Remove the instrument cluster finish panel bolt.

NOTE: The steering wheel is shown removed for clarity.

Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
1. Unclip the upper steering column shroud from the lower steering column shroud.
2. Unclip the instrument cluster finish panel and remove.
  - Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disconnect the luggage compartment release switch electrical connector and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

Remove the screws and the instrument cluster.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
