Removal And Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. NOTE: Left side SuperCab shown, regular cab, Crew Cab and tube running board similar. Right side symmetrically opposite.
    NOTE: Make sure to disconnect the running board lights electrical connector, if equipped.
  3. Remove the running board.
    • Remove the bolts.
      • To install, tighten to 23 N.m (17 lb-ft).
    • Remove the running board.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
