Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE-TRANSMISSION - CD4E or AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE-TRANSMISSION - ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (ECVT) .
  3. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
    • To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
