Differential Seals - RH: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the transaxle drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.

Remove the RH halfshaft and intermediate shaft. For additional information, refer to FRONT DRIVE HALFSHAFTS .
If equipped, remove the power takeoff (PTO). For additional information, refer to TRANSFER CASE-POWER TRANSFER UNIT (PTU) .
If the vehicle is equipped with a PTO, use the special tools to remove the RH differential seal.

If the vehicle is not equipped with a PTO, use the special tools to remove the RH differential seal.
