254 - ELECTRICAL ROUTINES 
  • No Electrical Concerns
 
354 - HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINES 
For Noises/Vibrations That Change With Engine Speed:   
  • Torque converter components
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as necessary.
  • Fluid level (low) pump cavitation
  • Adjust fluid to correct level.
  • Pump assembly
  • Engine drive accessories
  • Cooler tubes grounding out
  • Flexplate
  • Inspection cover
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as necessary.
For Noises That Change With Vehicle Speed   
  • Powertrain mounts loose, damaged
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as necessary.
  • Tires
  • Driveline concerns: front wheel driveshaft and joint or linkshaft, differential: final drive/chain, suspension, modifications
  • Planetary gear sets
  • Chain grounding to chain pan
  • Inspect chain pan for signs of damage or wrong installation. Repair as necessary.
  • Forward one-way clutch
  • Torque converter assembly
Other Noises/Vibrations   
  • Speedometer cable or gears
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as necessary.
  • Shift cable and bracket vibration, grounding
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as necessary.
