Removal And Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BODY SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
  3. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tube clamps and disconnect the rubber hoses from the auxiliary cooler.

  5. Remove the bolts for the auxiliary and remove the cooler.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

  7. Fill the transaxle with clean automatic transmission fluid.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
