Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 5.4L (3V) article.
  2. Remove the bolts and the coolant crossover manifold assembly.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  3. Remove and inspect the gaskets. Install new gaskets if necessary.
    4. NOTE: Clean the gasket mating surfaces with metal surface prep. Follow the directions on the packaging.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
