Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the 5 pin-type retainers and the radiator upper sight shield.
  2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
  3. Remove the 2 lower radiator air deflector-to-radiator support bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
  4. Remove the 8 lower radiator air deflectors bolts and the air deflectors.
    • To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
  5. Remove the 6 bumper cover-to-fender nuts (3 each side).
    • To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
  6. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors.
  7. Remove the 2 front bumper cover screws (1 each side).
  8. Remove the 2 front bumper cover-to-vertical shield screws.
    • To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

  10. Position the sides of the bumper cover outwards, push down on the 2 front retaining tabs and remove the front bumper cover.
  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
