Removal & Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
- Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud assembly. For more information, refer to Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud .
- Remove the pin-type retainers and remove the radiator sight shield.
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose and position aside.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 radiator support brackets.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Remove the top 4 pin-type retainers from the A/C condenser air deflectors.
- Disconnect the transmission cooler tubes from the transmission cooler and position aside.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
- Remove the pin-type retainer from the power steering fluid cooler tube bracket.
- Remove the bolt from the A/C condenser.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Release the 2 cooler retainer clips and seperate the power steering fluid cooler from the radiator.
- Separate the A/C condenser from the radiator.
- Remove the radiator.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding .
- Fill the transmission to the correct fluid level. For additional information, refer to GENERAL PROCEDURES article.

Do not reuse hose clamps. Instead, use appropriately sized worm-style clamps in place of the constant tension clamps.
