Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
  2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the quick connect couplings and remove the PCV tube. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
    4. NOTE: Anytime the PCV valve is removed, a new PCV valve must be installed.
  4. Rotate the PCV valve counterclockwise and remove the PCV valve.
    • Discard the PCV valve.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
