Removal And Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the push pin retainers and the splash shield.

  4. Remove the screws and the lower air deflector.

  6. Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the bracket.

  8. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the radiator in-tank transmission fluid cooler and the push pin retainers.

  10. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the oil-to-air (OTA) auxiliary transmission fluid cooler and the push pin retainers.

  12. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the transmission.
    • To install, tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).

  14. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
