P2800 - TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR CIRCUIT
| Description: | The PCM checks the gear selector position by monitoring 3 independent voltage signals from the transmission range (TR) sensor. The TR voltages are then compared to an allowed voltage range for each gear. The test fails when the compared voltages are out of range. This DTC indicates that 1 TR signal is more than 1 band away from the majority. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Monitor the TR_A1, TR_A2, and TR_A3 sensor voltage PIDs. The TR_A1 sensor voltage has a negative slope, and TR_A2, and TR_A3 sensor voltages have a positive slope. | ||
