P2600 - HEATER PUMP CONTROL RELAY (HPCR) PRIMARY CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
| Description: | The PCM monitors the heater pump control relay (HPCR) primary circuit output. The test fails if the PCM grounds the HPCR circuit, and excessive current draw is detected on the HPCR circuit or, with the HPCR circuit not grounded by the PCM, voltage is not detected on the HPCR circuit. The PCM expects to detect VPWR voltage coming through the HPCR relay coil to the HPCR circuit. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | An open circuit or short to ground can only be detected when the PCM is not grounding the HPCR circuit. A short to power can only be detected when the PCM is grounding the HPCR circuit. During KOEO and KOER self-test, the HPCR circuit will be cycled on and off. | ||
