P1A04 - GENERATOR SHUTDOWN CIRCUIT
| Description: | The TCM continuously monitors the generator shutdown (GSDN) circuit and the CAN signal for a GSDN request from the PCM. This DTC is set when the PCM requests generator shutdown through the CAN signal or if there is a GSDN circuit fault. The generator inverter will be disabled. | ||
| Possible Causes: |

| Diagnostic Aids: | With the PCM and TCM connected and KOEO, check the GSDN signal frequency. If the frequency is between 49 and 75 Hz DC, no circuit problem is indicated and PCM generator shutdown is requested. | ||
