DTC P1A02: Transmission One-Way Clutch Performance

P1A02 - TRANSMISSION ONE-WAY CLUTCH PERFORMANCE

Description:

The TCM continuously calculates engine speed (RPM). The TCM also receives RPM from the PCM. This DTC sets when the calculated RPM is the opposite direction of a normal operation.

Possible Causes:

One-way clutch failure.

⁽¹⁾	Install a new transaxle. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (ECVT) - HYBRID ESCAPE .

⁽²⁾	Clear the transaxle control module (TCM) continuous DTCs. Repeat the self-test. If DTC P1A02 is present again, install a new transaxle. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (ECVT) - HYBRID ESCAPE .
