DTC P0A08: Dc/Dc Converter Fault (DCF) Circuit Open

P0A08 - DC/DC CONVERTER FAULT (DCF) CIRCUIT OPEN

Description:  This DTC indicates the DC to DC converter has DCF circuit concerns, experienced an over temperature condition with the low motor electronics coolant temperature (MECT), open 12-volt outputs, high voltage power supply issues, or internal issues.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged DC/DC converter.
  • Damaged DC/DC harness.
  • High voltage input.
  • DC to DC cooling system issues.
  • Low voltage output to the VBAT.
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to Pinpoint Test HH .
