DTC P0A00: Motor Electronics Coolant Temperature (MECT) Sensor Circuit

P0A00 - MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT TEMPERATURE (MECT) SENSOR CIRCUIT

Description:  The sensed MECT value from the MECT sensor is not within the PCM predicted temperature range, based on other PCM inputs.
Possible Causes: 
  • Motor electronics cooling system issues.
  • Damaged MECT sensor.
  • MECT harness issues.
  • DC to DC converter issues.
  • Damaged PCM.
  • Damaged transaxle.
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
