SYMPTOM CHART

Condition	Possible Sources	Action
The shift interlock system does not release or lock correctly	Fuse in battery junction box (BJB).	Check fuses.
	Brake ON/OFF (BOO) switch	CHECK the BOO switch. REFER to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL .
	Floor shifter wiring and/or connectors. Transmission selector lever. Ignition system.	GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
The shift control is out of correct relationship	Selector lever cable adjustment.	ADJUST the selector lever cable. REFER to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE ADJUSTMENT .
The indicator lamp is inoperative or does not operate correctly	Circuitry.	CARRY OUT the smart junction box (SJB) diagnostics. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
