Motor Electronics Cooler

  1. Drain the motor electronics cooling system (MECS). For additional information, refer to MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING .
  2. Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BUMPERS .
  3. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the inlet hose.

  4. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the outlet hose.

  5. NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
  6. Remove the motor electronics (M/E) cooler bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
