Removal And Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
- Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
- If removing the heater core hoses, remove the heater hose tie.
- Release the clamps and remove the necessary heater hose(s).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.NOTE: Lubricate the coolant hoses with plain water only if needed.
- Fill the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
