Removal And Installation

  1. Move the front seat forward.
  2. Move the front seatback forward.
  3. If equipped, remove the utility tray behind the seat. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
  4. Pull the carpet or mat back to see the rear body insulator bolt head.
  5. Remove and discard the bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 80 N.m (60 lb-ft).

  7. Remove the insulator.

    NOTE: Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
    NOTE: No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body insulator installation.
  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
